Designed by Piuarch, The new headquarters of D&G in Milan house the showrooms for the fashion collections, the offices, a restaurant and a number of spaces for events, with a total surface of 5.000 square meters. The project reflects a rigorous architectural scheme, using natural materials such as white namibic stone, glass and crude steel sheets. Two bodies, of the 1920’s and the 1960’s respectively, face three streets, covering 5 floors and 2 basements. The first floor overlooks a garden of white cobblestone. Read the rest of this entry »

The Rothoblaas office is a large scale commercial operation specializing in assembling systems and power tools for the woodworking industry. Warehouse and commissioning are situated on the ground floor and a showroom can be found on the upper floor. The aim of the project was to create a compact building with a high level of recognition. In 2003, Rotterdam-based architectural firm MVRDV, together with Norwegian firms Dark and A-Lab, won the competition for the Bjørvika waterfront development and designed a dense urban masterplan along Nyland Allé, the Oslo Barcode, that will be developed and realized by OSU in phases. Business Centre Miramare is a winning competition project by  3LHD. The competition program is placed on a crossing of two streets, Miramarska and Bednjanska. It is a point of colliding two urban city concepts: north part with classical city blocks of the Zagreb’s lower city enclosed by the railway and the south part primarily along the Vukovarska Street, outlined with modernistic dominant character of mostly public and social buildings. After years of work, we decided to face the construction of our own office.Sited on a corner defined by Catamarca and Caracas streets, in Martinez, Buenos Aires. A zone that is actually transforming and developing, from being an area of horse keeping studs, to become a commercial spot, surrounded by offices and modern restaurants, right in the heart of San Isidro.

WEBER THOMPSON awarded AIA/COTE Top Ten Green Project

The Terry Thomas was designed by  to provide a healthy and creative work environment that would illustrate the possibilities of sustainable design and was chosen as an AIA Committee on the Environment Top Ten Green Project for 2009. The project was driven by a future tenant who needed a new office space to accommodate a rapidly expanding architectural practice.
