Designed by Pascal Arquitectos This lounge bar, located in Acapulco, is an entertainment place dedicated to the senses. Expressed through the architecture, the people, the music and the images an alternative and virtual atmosphere is created.

Access to the premises is by a foyer that simulates the interior of a ship lined with wood, where five high definition screens framed as oval windows that may show either a clouded sky travelling at high speed or bottom of the sea images transforming it into a submarine.Nisha Acapulco | Pascal Arquitectos

A dark foyer leads to a wooden lounge decorated with small groups of sofas that have a view of  an outside smoking area. At one end there are several screens framed as pictures in a living room and on the other a 15 meter long bar counter and further up, at the back, a same size by 3 meters height hi-res video screen. The bars under counters display a geometric design and are lit up by changing color leds.

Restrooms are gathering place consumed in glass; the women’s area is area is co-ordinated with red and white with a bench and a huge palm tree at the center, while the men’s section is in black and blue with a central triangular decorative planter with exotic plants.

Color use in each and everyone lounge spaces causes an unique visual experience complemented by the music, the images, the videos and the overall atmosphere.

  1. Greetings, Excellent article not to mention post! I am interested in design and style and in particular typically the styling in the not too distant future. Are you submitting any posts on upcoming creative concepts as well as style and design? We all generally look ahead with each decade and next attempt to replicate style and design creative concepts belonging to the past decades much like the 60′s and also 1970′s in advance of moving forward towards a modern day style and design. European countries and the USA find a way to clone the actual style of yesteryear, for financial worth prior to searching for much more leading edge design for the future. Your opinions please.Respect Ryan
