Lanzarote’s new concert and congress hall has been designed by Henning Larsen Architects in collaboration with the local architect Carlos Morales. The 15.000 m2 large cultural building will be located in Arrecife, the main city of Lanzarote.

The building will demonstrate a unique flexibility. The halls are suitable for different uses: classical concerts, electronic music and conferences. The size of all three halls can be easily modified. The large hall seats up to 900 people, the middle hall seats 800 and the smallest hall seats 350 people.

This building looks amazing. I like the perforated front facades with the yellow (lava color) lighting from behind and also the coloum-free space in the front entry. I think the upper floors are cantilevered.
