Again, Alan Chu & Cristiano Kato, our friends from Brazil demonstrates how clean & simple architecture can give a very cool result. The follows are from the architects;
Originally, the property with 450 m² of covered area was a house that has been adapted to be an administration office.The area that will be most affected by the project is concentrated, apart from the façade, the top floor of the building, where the private area of the house used to be.

This floor attracted attention due to the slanted capstones and existing zenithal lighting openings.The idea was to take advantage of the quality of this space doing away with every wall so it becomes clearer and the effect of the horizontal and zenithal openings be better exploited.
The closed rooms were positioned at the ends of the empty space. At the South point, at the end of the corridor that follows the wooden span, is the presidency room and at the North end 2 boardrooms

The closures are of white serigraphed glass up to 2.30 m high, and above it transparent glass next to the capstone to give continuity to the ceiling’s design.
The location of the rooms allowed the middle of building to be only one space occupied by the access stairs, circulation passages, bathrooms and 4 work stations intended as individual territories.

Different to what happens in the rest of the house, the entire finishing of that floor was changed: grey granite on the floor, black furniture, demolition wood in the coffee area and bathrooms, white and transparent glass and white walls in order to create a calm, nearly monochromatic, atmosphere.
