Designed by Piuarch, The new headquarters of D&G in Milan house the showrooms for the fashion collections, the offices, a restaurant and a number of spaces for events, with a total surface of 5.000 square meters. The project reflects a rigorous architectural scheme, using natural materials such as white namibic stone, glass and crude steel sheets. I browsed through the architect blog and have seen this interested architecture, so I’d like to share with you the Da Vinci Residential Tower designed by Pascal Arquitectos.
This condominium tower includes 38 apartments. The service areas include a multi-purpose room, paddle tennis court, open swimming pool at the roof garden, lounge, SPA with a two lane lap-pool, jacuzzi, restrooms, dressing room, and a balcony with a fantastic view to the gardens.

Slovenian architecture firm OFIS have received third prize in the competition to design the new ljubljana administration centre. The brief proposed several departments to move to the same site but occupy different buildings. Located along the river on the edge of the city the building is surrounded by some protected buildings. The new Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House in Dallas, one of the new performance art venues of AT&T’s Performing Art center (ATTPAC). Estimated 45,000 people across Dallas have joined the opening on 19th October. The Opera house auditorium designed with horseshoe plan seating 2,200 audiences by trying to take theatre to the audience. What I like is the public sunshade area that is connected the theatre to other buildings, squares and activities featured in the ATTPAC.

The Aramco Overseas Company head office has recently moved into their new accommodation in The Hague. The new office, housed in an existing building from the eighties, needed to be fully refurbished.
