“Car Experience” is a project for a building to be dedicated to the automobile: the car as an object of desire, a world to explore, a technology to study, an article to display and a means to travel around the building.
Here the world of the automobile intersects with the human and organic world creating a new tectonic structure with methods differing from the usual flat open spaces, squares… all on a human scale. Here everything is geared to the automobile – the car is the point of reference.

The Olympic house and park in Nicosia, Cyprus which is functioned for the offices of the Cyprus Olympic Committee and of all the National Athletic Federations. Designed by Armon choros architektonikis, here is the idea and description from them on this excellent design;

Las Tablas is a large residential area, with a low density, which was built very recently on private land, without any special intention behind the planning.Spatially and conceptually, Distrito C absorbs very little of this environment.
An essential element of a Campus is its pedestrianised areas and this clearly is in contradiction with the new development of Las Tablas, given that that project was designed for low density and therefore puts the car forward as the main means of transport.

Inspired by the many ways people receive news, the architects conceived of the Newseum as a kind of giant, three-dimensional newspaper whose primary purpose is to communicate the nature of news to a diverse audience: that is, the press as a “window on the world.” It is fitting that a building dedicated to journalism and free speech should itself be a visually open and intellectually accessible stage for the public to learn about and interact with the process of newsmaking throughout history. In its form and exhibit program, this complex building contains the features, special sections and breaking news of any journalistic venue. The architects fashioned a spatially compelling journey through the many exhibits that explain and dramatize the past and future of journalism. Read the rest of this entry »
